1/21/2007 - We've had many changes and much activity in our family in 2006. We moved into a new townhouse, we traveled to Germany, Phoenix, Williamsburg and (of course) Houston. The pretty blonde girl above is the most recent addition to the family. Kaya (a play off the word "coyote" - which she resembles - stumbled into our lives two weeks before Christmas. She ran out in front of my Xterra, early Sunday morning, while I was on my ritualistic trip to Starbucks. We, along with the Fairfax City Police, got her veterinary assistance - she broke her pelvis and two teeth. A week later, she was ours! At least in an interim sense. We are actively trying to find her a good home - so if you know anyone, tell us! She's a very sweet girl - with lots of energy for play. She gets along well with other dogs and children.
